I’m sharing a binaural downmix of my 5.1 surround sound mix for “I Will Always Love You”—a powerful performance from The Singer 2018 by Jessie J.

This promo features sound design and recording by me for the Dongting Lake Sound Documentary — a cultural media project organized by the Provincial Party Committee, highlighting Hunan’s heritage through a 12-day press tour across Yueyang, Changde, and Yiyang, etc. 

Sound design for Custom commercial for Sharp featuring

This generative patch explores rhythmic phasing and interlocking textures using multiple cycle~ oscillators modulated by independent line~ envelopes. Drawing inspiration from Steve Reich’s Piano Phase and the intricate temporal layering of Balinese gamelan, the system creates evolving rhythmic drift and shimmering phase relationships—evoking both mechanical precision and organic flow.

This is one episode from the Dongting Lake Sound Documentary series, featuring my original sound design and recording. It focuses on Zhang Guying Village, a historic architectural site in Hunan Province. The project is part of a large-scale regional media initiative promoting cultural heritage.
